Koihime Musou Girls and Famous Koreans, Part XXIII: Lü Bu and Yeo Jin-goo

Yeo Jin-goo (Hangul/Hanja: 여진구/呂珍九; born August 13, 1997 in Seoul Gwanak-gu) is a South Korean actor. He is the member of Hamyang Yeo Clan (함양 여씨/咸陽呂氏), originated from Hamyang County, Southern Gyeongsang Province where the Korean Reunification Activist, Lyuh Woon-hyung (1886-1947) originated from the same clan as Yeo Jin-goo.

He began his career as a child actor, notably in the film Sad Movie (2005), the television dramas Giant (2011), Moon Embracing the Sun (2012), Missing You (2012), and the sitcom Potato Star 2013QR3 (2013-2014). In 2013, he played his first big-screen leading role as the titular character in action thriller Hwayi: A Monster Boy, for which he won Best New Actor at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
