Chosun Ilbo Gallery, Seoul Jung-gu: Chosun Daily's Art Museum

The Chosun Ilbo Gallery (Hanja: 朝鮮日報美術館) in 33 Sejong Boulevard 21st Street/Sejong-daero 21-gil, Jeongdong 1-16 beonji, Seoul Jung-gu was founded in April 1988. Since then it has served as the center of special and invitational exhibits and has sated the cultural tastes of the general public for nearly twenty years. 

The Gallery also established the Lee Jung-seop Art Awards to honor significant Korean artists, bringing a spirit of collaboration and enterprise to Korea’s exciting art world. The Gallery has also exhibited the works of Marc Chagall, renowned video artist Paik Nam-june, as well as the works of Moon Shin. Bold exhibits of Helmut Newton’s photographs have taken place here as well. In a clean space, a serene atmosphere awaits you in an experience of art in the heart of Seoul.
